Sunday started bright & early at 6:00am when Kimber woke up. After nursing her, the Easter bunny hid the baskets and eggs in the back yard. Then it was time to wake up the older girls!! Kia was up & out of bed the second she heard us say the Easter bunny had came, but it took about 30 minutes to get the teenagers out of bed!! {Something to look forward to with Kimber!}
They headed to the backyard to find their Easter baskets & eggs. Kimber didn't understand what was going on, but had fun playing with the eggs that Daddy handed to her and later playing with all the goodies in her Easter basket. And once the teenagers found their baskets & eggs - they went straight back to bed!!
After the Easter egg hunt, we played with the toys, ate candy and breakfast {more candy than breakfast for the kids}, took a nap, watched 2 movies, relaxed on the couch, took a walk, ate lunch, the girls played outside with Kimber and then it was time for us to head home. We timed our departure with Kimber's nap again. She slept for the first 2 hours of the ride {and so did I!} and did good the rest of the trip. I sat in the backseat and entertained her with all her toys.
I'm already looking forward to next Easter, when Kimber will be walking and will enjoy the festivities more!
