Taking monthly pictures during year two proved to be more of a challenge than during year one. {see year one here} Mostly because I now have a mobile & independent toddler that doesn't always like to get her picture taken...even with bribes. But in the end, I'm glad I did these pictures so I can compare them and see how much she's grown in the last year!! However...I do not plan on continuing to take monthly pictures or do monthly updates. Ain't nobody got time for that!

Kimber: Twenty Two & Twenty Three Months Old
One month until you are TWO. Time feels like it is flying by!! I really want to do these monthly posts since I have been bad about keeping a baby book, but I feel like I never have time to just sit down and write them. I also feel like it's so hard to capture exactly who you are and what you are doing at the different stages.
You have changed & grown so much in the last two months. Your vocabulary is out of control. You are becoming so independent. You really understand what is going on around you. Overall, you are becoming such a little person and not a baby anymore!
While Mommy & Daddy went on vacation to Jamaica last month, you stayed with Gramma & Papa and had a great time! You were able to hang out at the farm most days with Papa and Abey. And boy, did you love that!! Now you don't go a day without asking with Papa and Abey are. And you get SO excited when we drive by the farm - just the thought of being able to stop at the farm makes you squeal with excitement!
While we were gone, you started saying toot!toot! when you saw a semi and choo!choo! when you saw a train. Throughout the next month, your vocabulary grew even more! You can repeat almost anything we way and can say 4-5 word sentences. Everyone around us comments on how much you talk! It's so much fun to be able to have little conversations with you!
Of course, as we've been moving closer to two and you are growing more independent by the day...the sweet has started to turn into sassy! We butt heads. A lot. I have a feeling it's because we spent a lot of time together {since Daddy is in the fields} and also because we're a lot alike. We both like to get our way and we both want things done a certain way.
I love that you understand what is going on more & more. One day, we were going to the farm and were sitting at the end of our driveway and I asked you which way to the farm and you pointed in the right direction!
I love to watch you grow and learn something new every day! You continue to amaze me with your sweet & silly personality. You make me laugh so much...and melt my heart when you give me a big hug & kiss.

Weight: 28.2 lbs {84%}
Height: She doesn't lay still long enough to measure her! We'll find out at her 2 year appointment. I can tell she has really shot up in the last couple of months, she is losing her rolls from the thighs and really thinning out.
Diaper Size: Size 5.
Potty training has not been happening lately. She used to show interest in the potty and we'd take her a few times a day, but lately she fights us the entire time. I'm not sure when to tell if a kid is ready to be potty trained, but I'm pretty sure if they are screaming and saying no the entire time they are on the potty - they might not be ready. Or maybe she just has us wrapped around her finger and we have to be ready to train here?!? Either way, I think we'll put it off awhile until she seems more ready.

Clothing Size: 2T/3T.
She is mostly in 2T clothes, but I have started to buy her a couple 3T shirts for the summer. Mostly since tshirts shrink so much and her belly starts to stick out of them, so I figured she'd get more wear out of them if I bought them a size smaller. Other than some tshirts, all her bottoms & dresses are 2T.
Sleeping: Now that she's closer to 23 months, her sleep is much better. We did go through a spell after our trip to Jamaica that she wasn't sleeping well and waking up at night. I'm pretty sure that's because she slept in bed with Papa for a week straight and had to get used to her crib again!
I have been using lavender essential oils on Kimber over the 1-2 months and I feel that has made a big difference in her sleeping. I had been diffusing the oils, but didn't notice an improvement in her sleep. Someone suggested I put it direction on her big toe and since doing that - I've noticed a BIG improvement! Nick hates the smell of the oils, but if it makes her sleep through the night I'll bathe her in it! ha! Kimber has even gotten used to the routine of applying the oils. When I put her jammies on her at night, she lifts her feet up so I can apply the oil to her toes and put her socks on her.

Nap time: One nap a day at 1:00pm for 1.5-3 hours.
She transitioned to napping on a mat on the floor at daycare {from the pack n play}.
Food: Great eater!
If you ask Nick, he'll say that she's not a good eater. But I disagree. She'll eat most of the things we put on her plate and will try new things. There are a couple of things that are her favorites - fruit and veggies mostly. She LOVES grapes, bananas, watermelon, corn and green beans. If you put any of these things on her plate, she will eat it all. We have to be careful to not give her fruit until she finishes the rest of her meal or she won't eat anything but the fruit.
She still is not a big fan of plain hamburgers, but the girl loves Mexican night! She will eat taco meat all night long! She also discovered her love for tortilla shells this month. We were out to eat {Mexican ofcourse} and I had ordered fajitas and she wanted a shell. I thought she was playing around, but she ate the whole thing! Considering we have Mexican 1-2 times a week at our house - she eats a lot of tortilla shells now!

She is still on the same cow's milk routine: in the morning before daycare, with lunch and at night before bed for a total of 20-24 ounces of milk a day. She loves to drink apple or cranberry juice mixed with water - she will have at least 3-4 sippy cups a night {plus some at daycare}
Favorite Foods: hotdogs, ham, chicken strips/nuggets, pork chops, steak, ribs, chicken stir fry,
corn, cooked carrots, green beans, mac & cheese, french fries, Mexican food, tortilla shells, mash potatoes,
bananas, grapes, watermelon, apples, pears
pancakes, donuts, cheese, bread/toast, pickles, peanut butter, ice cream, granola bars, nutter butter
Least Favorite Foods: hamburgers, blueberries
Health: Sick free in month 22, but got hit with pink eye and a sinus infection in month 23.
I thought she had a cold in her eyes. I even texted a picture of her eye gunk to a couple of people and got mixed reviews. But we sent her to daycare on Monday {since our provider didn't think it was pink eye and couple other kids had the same 'eye cold"} and it got worse throughout the day. Long story short, she had pink eye {and so did several other kids at daycare} and a sinus infection. So five days of eye drops and ten days of antibiotics later - she was feeling & looking much better!
Nicknames: Sissy. Monkey {by Dad}
{22 months}
Likes {new}: Playing outside. Being independent.
Like most kids her age, Kimber could play outside all day, every day. We put up a swing set this month and if we are home, all she want to do is swing. Most days, if it's nice, I will stop at the farm on the way home from work. This gives her a change of scenery {instead of just swinging}, a chance to see Papa & Daddy and Great Gramma & Grampa and hopefully tire her out so she'll sleep through the night! I have also been going to walks in town and she does really great in the stroller. I think it's because she knows we go to the park after the walk!
Kimber loves to do things on her own. Put on her boots. Brush her hair. Brush her teeth. Try to get dresses. She is turning into a big girl and feel like she can do it all! {see dislikes}
{same as last month}: Animal Book. Shoes. Bath time. Music/Dancing. Apple Juice. Giving Hugs/Kisses. Stuffed Animals. Swings & Slides. Rides: Wagon/Bike/Lawn Mower. Playing with baby dolls. Kitty. Moo Cow. Smiling. Playing. Tickling. Papa. Dancing when she hears music. Playing in her room. Books. Puzzles. Jumping on the couch. Playing with blocks. Shopping Cart. Coloring books. Stickers. Being adjusted by Aunt Paige.
{same as last month}: Getting told 'no'. Time out. Not getting her way. When we don't sit down with her.

Disikes {new}: Potty chair. Not being independent.
We were doing pretty good with sitting Kimber on the potty chair on a regular basis. But she has really lost interest in it and will throw a fit if we put her on it. We have decided to hold off on potty training for awhile until she seems more ready.
Kimber loves to do things on her own. Put on her boots. Brush her hair. Brush her teeth. Try to get dresses. She is turning into a big girl and feel like she can do it all! {see likes}. With that being said, she does not like when we try to help her do something that she wants to do on her own. Or she get frustrated if she can't do something that she really wants to do.

Words {new}: This girl talks NON-STOP. And in full sentences!!!
As a first time mom, I don't know what is 'normal' when it comes to how much kids talk. Our only normal is how much Kimber talks. Sure we love that she says a lot of words and is saying full sentences, but lately we've had several people tell us that she talks really well for an almost two year-old. We had a play date with a friend and she said she thought Callan talked a lot until she came over to our house and heard Kimber talk. And I've had several co-workers make the same comment. So maybe she does talk more than an average {almost} two year old?? I'm pretty sure everyone knows where she gets it from {her mom!!}!
She has really started connecting location/items with people. When she sees a tractor or pickup, she says Daddy. When she sees a semi or cow, she says Papa. Now, when you live in the middle of Iowa...she pretty much says this NON-STOP since we leave in farm country! She knows when we turn on our daycare provider's road that we are close to her house and will say Roma {our daycare lady's daughter and Kimber's best friend}.
Words: Dada. Hi. Mama. Jayde. No. Okay. Oh. Tickle, Tickle, Tickle. Kitty, Kitty, Kitty. Moo. ha, ha, ha. Go. Tractor noises. Ah oh. Ow. Please {signs and says}. What's that? Thank you. Again. Mm Hmm. Papa. Shoe. MeMe. Mine. Traci. Brady. Ashes, Ashes, Down! Corn. Baby. Sissy. Signs More. Signs All Done. Signs Milk. Kia. Swing. Oops. Down. Roma. Juice. I eat. Out. Cow. Baaa {like a sheep}. Calls Daddy - Mama. Using words backwards. I wanna do it.
We had to say goodbye to two of Kimber's Great Gramma's on my side. My mom's mom and dad's mom both passed away within a week of each other. It was a really hard time, but it was nice to be surrounded my family and recall so many memories we had with them.
Kimber had her first mini hair cut. I had a hair appointment and since Kimber & Nick were with me, I asked my hair lady to trim the back of Kimber's hair {aka side rat tail}. I didn't think it was a big deal, but everyone asked me if I took pictures and if I kept the hair. Oops, guess that was a big mom fail? Oh well, her hair looks much better and growing like crazy! And her curls are out of control!
We celebrated Easter with Nick's family and had a great time with all the Easter Egg hunts! I'm hoping next year we are able to celebrate with my family again!
23 months - 16 teeth.
Kimber had her first dentist appointment on April 9. And she did just how we expected her to do - she screamed the whole time!! But the dentist (Cousin Quinn!) was able to take a look at her teeth and see that her upper canines were coming in. I knew she had to be teething since she was sticking everything in her mouth, but I hadn't noticed that they had finally pushed through.
On May 3, {technically this should be in her 24 month update}, I noticed that her bottom canines had pushed through. I'm not sure how long they have been up, but I'm assuming it had been a couple of days!!
Here is a chart of the teeth she current has:
Bottom right: January 17
Top right central incisor: April 4
Top left central incisor: April 19
Top right lateral incisor: June 7
Top left lateral incisor: June 12

Kimber: Twenty One Months Old
Baby girl,
Even though you are doing something new every day, these updates are getting harder & harder to do. You are learning something new all the time and it's just part of the norm now. When you were a baby, you were hitting big milestones {sitting up, rolling over} but now it's the little things - saying new works, making a new funny face, etc. And it's harder to keep track of it all. And it's just who you are.
I have said it before and I'll say it again - two words that describe you are silly & sweet. You love to be goofy and get a laugh out of everyone around you. But you also give the best hugs & kisses. You have even started to pat our backs when you give us a hug and it's the best!! You also love to give other little girls hugs - even when you don't know them. I hope you're always this loving!! {But learn to keep your hands to yourself at some point!}
Weight: 27.5 lbs
Height: She doesn't lay still long enough to measure her!
Diaper Size: Size 5.
We have started the potty training process. We take her potty in the mornings, a couple times at night {after we get home from work/daycare} and before bedtime. She goes on the potty and gets excited when she goes. But she isn't to the point of telling us when we need to go. We are not forcing it at this point.

Clothing Size: 2T.
Sleeping: Still sleeping great!!! We had a couple nights were she didn't sleep the best because she had a cough and it was keeping her awake. And ofcourse, it happened while Nick was gone on a snowmobile trip and I was home alone with her for five days. But other than that - she's still sleeping great!
We have a set bedtime routine. At 9:00, she gives Da-dee hugs & kisses night night. I take her into her room and put her to bed. We sit in the rocking chair, I ask her if she wants Mommy to sing to her, she nods her head yes, I sing "Jesus Loves Me", we say our bedtime prayers, I ask her if she's ready for bed, she nods her head yes, I give her hugs & kisses, I lay her in bed, she asks for Mmm and Baby, we snuggle them in close and I leave the room and she falls asleep.

Nap time: One nap a day at 1:00pm for 1.5-3 hours.
Food: All the food.
Two items that Kimber started eating more of this month were mashed potatoes and chicken stir fry. She went through a phase when she was younger where she wouldn't eat mashed potatoes, but now she'll clean her plate if we give them to her! A staple at our house in the winter is chicken stir fry and we have it once a week. Kimber will eat all the chicken we put on her plate and most of the veggies!

Health: Stomach bug #3
On February 25, Kimber was hit with stomach bug #3 of this winter. The forecast for the day wasn't the best, so I left work early and picked up Kimber. {After getting stuck in a white out last month, I didn't want to stay at work too long and it happen again!}. We got home around 10am, played, ate lunch and about that time Nick got home from the farm. I was sitting at my computer trying to get work done and Nick was hanging in the living room. Next thing we know, Kimber is throwing up all over the place! And she continued to get sick for the next 6 hours. She was al ittle by 6:00pm, slept through the night and was fine when she woke up the next morning. We kept her home the next day, just to be safe, but she never got sick again. Nick on the other hand, caught her bug {again!} and was sick the following day!
Nicknames: Sissy. Monkey {by Dad}
Likes {new}: Coloring books. Stickers. Being adjusted by Aunt Paige.
Kimber received a small coloring book & crayons for Christmas and was wanting to color more & more, so I bought her 2 big coloring books, crayons and a book of over 1000 stickers for Valentine's Day. BIG HIT! She has not stopped coloring since she got them. She wants Mom & Dad to color with her all night long. She will pat the floor and say "Sit Down, Mommy. Sit Down". It's the cutest thing ever!
Kimber has decided that being adjusted by Aunt Paige is the most fun thing ever! She will climb up on her table, lay on her tummy and wait to get adjusted. Once her back gets adjusted, she will roll to one side {on her own} to be adjusted and then roll to the other side. She has started to lay on the floor for us to 'adjust' her at home. We will say "pop, pop, pop" as we 'adjust' her. Now, she has decided that she wants to do the adjusting and will "pop, pop, pop" our backs!

Rides: Wagon/Bike/Lawn Mower. Crawling up the steps. Playing peek-a-boo. WALKING! Playing with baby dolls. Kitty. Moo Cow. Smiling. Playing. Tickling. Playing with her belly button {and others}. Words {new}: So many words!
My favorite new thing that she says: "Sit Down, Mommy. Sit Down" as she pats the floor next to her.
She will look at me and say a "complete sentence" with inflection {like she's asking a question} and I can't understand a word she is saying. I mean, they're not even real words. But she knows what she's saying!
I always thought it was funny when kids came up with names for things {stuffed animals, blankets, etc} and the parents just went along with it. But now I get it. Kimber refers to her stuff cow as Mmmm. And we go along with it. I mean, that's it's name. When we go to the farm, she even points out Papa's cows and calls them Mmmm.
Words: Dada. Hi. Mama. Jayde. No. Okay. Oh. Tickle, Tickle, Tickle. Kitty, Kitty, Kitty. Moo. ha, ha, ha. Go. Tractor noises. Ah oh. Ow. Please {signs and says}. What's that? Thank you. Again. Things to note:
Everything this girl does is SO funny! Even if it's not that funny. The things she says. The things she does. She loves to be goofy and will try to get us to laugh. And if she sees us laughing, she will do it again to make us laugh more. She loves to be chased after and tickled by Da-dee. And when he stops, she will chase after him and tickle him!
I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing: but Kimber will go up to little girls and give them hugs and touch their faces. I'm not sure if it's because she does this with Roma at daycare, so she thinks it's fine to do with all little girls? But anywhere we go - the Science Center, the park, church, get together with friends - she will go up to the little girls and give them hugs. Not boys, though. As a mom, I think it's adorable that she wants to be so loving on all the little girls, but not all of them like it. Either they don't know what to expect or they don't like to be touched {Bailey!}. So I have to remember to tell her not to hug them even though I think it's adorable!
Kimber has learned to give knuckles. Wade {our daycare provider's husband} started doing this with her and now she wants to give us knuckles after she goes potty!
21 months - 12 teeth.
She might be getting her molars in. She's been chewing on her hands and putting things in her mouth more than usual, but I haven't felt anything push through yet. But she doesn't let me stick my hands her mouth either!!
Here is a chart of the teeth she current has:
Bottom left tooth: January 5

Kimber: Nineteen & Twenty Months Old
The last two months have been crazy busy and boring at the same time. I've been so busy at work and when I come home at night, I want to relax and hang out with my little family. Not get on the computer again. I haven't made the time to update Kimber's monthly posts. But I want to have these updates for Kimber's baby book. So I'll try to remember all the changes from months nineteen & twenty...I feel like she is changing so much every single day. New words. New toys. More imagination. I love watching her grow & learn!!
{19 months}
{20 months}
Weight: Will weigh her this weekend and update.
Height: Will measure her this weekend and update.
Diaper Size: Size 5.
Clothing Size: 2T.
Sleeping: We have a sleeper!!!? {I'm still not 100% that it will stick at this point} It only took 19 months, but I think we finally have a sleeper!!! And of course after I write this, she'll probably regress back to not sleeping through the night. Sometime after the holiday season, we kept Kimber up until 9:oopm instead of putting her to bed at her normal 8:00pm bedtime. AND she slept through the night. So we thought we'd try it again...and that's all it took! And now she sleeps through the night {almost every night}!! And I couldn't be MORE excited. Woohoo!!!

Nap time: One nap a day at 1:00pm for 1.5-3 hours. She's been taking longer naps on the weekends - usually 3-4 hours! The first time she took a 4 hour nap - I kept checking to make sure she was still breathing. She's never took that long of a nap!
Food: All the food.
I still can't get over what a good eater Kimber is. So far, she isn't picky and will try almost anything we put on her plate. Which I know will probably change as she gets older so I am enjoying it while I can! She doesn't always eat everything on her plate and she goes in phases on what she likes {one week she'll eat mac & cheese and the next she doesn't want it}, but we just go with the flow. We give her a variety of things on her plate and let her eat as much or as little as she wants. We always put whatever we're eating on her plate and a few things we know she likes {such as cooked carrots, green beans, ham, grapes or apples} If she doesn't eat much, we don't force her but we also don't give her snacks the rest of the night to fill her up. I figure if she's hungry she'll eat and if she's not, we don't need to force it down her throat.
Kimber has really started liking bananas this month. She will eat an entire banana for breakfast or a snack. And I love when she asks for a 'nana'.
Kimber is developing a sweet tooth...and it'll all because of Daddy! Nick has a HUGE sweet tooth and wants dessert every night. Unfortunately for him, I don't bake. At all. So instead, we keep cookies in the pantry for him. Kimber & Daddy have one dessert a night after dinner. The newest treat she likes is Nutter Butters. On NYE, I made a crock pot chex mix and Nick added M&Ms to it and Kimber picked out the M&Ms and at only them!

Kimber has decided that she's a big girl and doesn't like us to cut up her food. She likes big pieces of food. If we try to cut a piece of meat into smaller pieces, she won't touch it. But if we leave it in one big piece - she'll eat it all.
Nick & I love Mexican food. We make some kind of Mexican meal at least once a week {tacos/quesadillas/guacamole} and luckily Kimber is a fan, too! She loves taco meat, cheese and chips & salsa!
She is still on the same cow's milk routine: in the morning before daycare, with lunch and at night before bed for a total of 20-24 ounces of milk a day. She loves to drink apple or cranberry juice mixed with water - she will have at least 3-4 sippy cups a night {plus some at daycare}
Favorite Foods: hotdogs, ham, chicken strips/nuggets, pork chops, steak, ribs,
cooked carrots, green beans, mac & cheese, french fries, Mexican food,
bananas, grapes, watermelon, apples, pears
pancakes, donuts, cheese, bread/toast, pickles, peanut butter, ice cream, granola bars, nutter butter
Least Favorite Foods: mash potatoes {still keeping this as least favorite since she's only ate it once}, hamburgers, blueberries
Health: Another month. Another sickness.
On December 16, Kimber got the flu for the second time. It was going around the family, so I wasn't surprised when she got sick. I was surprised, however, when she woke up at 1:00am crying and started throwing up. I was not ready for that! And neither was our washing machine. The hardest part about Kimber being sick at this age is her understanding what is going on. And not wanting to throw up in the puke bucket. She would start getting fussy, so I could tell her tummy was upset and she was going to throw up. I'd hold the bucket up to be ready and she'd push it away and kept turning her head as she was throwing up. I felt like a game show contestant - how much could you catch in the bucket and not get all over her, yourself, the blankets and furniture. Needless to say, I would not have won the game. And we did four loads of laundry.
The flu seemed to linger around for a couple of days. Four days after she had the flu, she had diarrhea all.day.long. Her bottom was so sore and she would cry for 10-15 minutes after I changed her because it hurt so bad. I felt so bad for her!! I tried everything and finally a baking soda bath and Vaseline seemed to help the most. By Sunday, she was much better!
Nicknames: Kimber Sue. Kibber. Sissy. Monkey {by Dad}
I'm really not sure if Kimber knows her name is Kimber since we call her Sissy about 99% of the time. Well, unless she's in trouble and then it's KIMBER NICOLE!

Likes {new}: Playing with blocks. Shopping Cart.
Kimber got wood blocks for Christmas and we bought her legos this month. She really like to build with them both. She will sit for 30+ minutes and play with them! Nick likes to play with the legos, too. If I'm giving Kimber a bath, I'll come back into the livingroom and Nick has built a castle for Kimber.
Kimber hasn't played a ton with her kitchen she got for Christmas, but she loves the shopping cart. She will put her baby in it and walk around the livingroom filling the cart with food & toys. She plays with the kitchen more when we have other kids over at the house and they play together.
{same as last month}: Animal Book. Shoes Bath time/Showers with Dad. Music/Dancing. Apple Juice. Giving Hugs/Kisses. Stuffed Animals. Sharing. Being on the move. Swings & Slides. Rides: Wagon/Bike/Lawn Mower. Crawling up the steps. Playing peek-a-boo. WALKING! Playing with baby dolls. Kitty. Moo Cow. Smiling. Playing. Tickling. Playing with her belly button {and others}. Papa. Dancing when she hears music. Playing in her room. Books. Puzzles. Jumping on the couch.
{same as last month}: Changing her diaper/Changing clothes {having to lay on her back}. Getting told 'no'. Time out. Not getting her way.

Disikes {new}: The feet on her footie jammies getting twisted. And it's the funniest thing ever. Some of her feetie jammies don't have tighter elastic around the ankles, so the feet part get twisted or fall down and it drives her crazy! She will be walking around the house, the feet will get twisted/moved and she'll plop down on her bottom and stick her foot up in the air for us to fix it. And she won't get back up until it's in the exact right place.
{same as last month}: Changing her diaper/Changing clothes {having to lay on her back}. Getting told 'no'. Time out. Not getting her way.

Words {new}: So many words!
She basically talks non-stop, so it's hard to tell when she starts saying a new word these days. She will repeat almost any word you ask her to say...unless she's not in the mood and then she'll tell you 'no'.
She has even started to talk in full sentences. She'll say things like "I did it" or "I wanna do it".
She sings her ABCs up to letter G. She sings along with nursery rhymes {like Wheels on the Bus; If you're Happy and you know it; Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes}.
Words: Dada. Hi. Mama. Jayde. No. Okay. Oh. Tickle, Tickle, Tickle. Kitty, Kitty, Kitty. Moo. ha, ha, ha. Go. Tractor noises. Ah oh. Ow. Please {signs and says}. What's that? Thank you. Again. Mm Hmm. Papa. Shoe. MeMe. Mine. Traci. Brady. Ashes, Ashes, Down! Corn. Baby. Sissy. Signs More. Signs All Done. Signs Milk. Kia. Swing. Oops. Down. Roma. Juice. I eat. Out. Cow. Baaa {like a sheep}. Calls Daddy - Mama. Using words backwards.
Things to note:
Kimber started waking up dry after her nap, so we started potty training her. We're not rushing into it, but just sitting her on the potty 1-2 times a day to get her used to the potty. Some days, she's really excited about it and tells us "I potty" and we'll sit her on it and she'll go!! Which of course then we do a crazy Pee Pee in the Potty dance! ha! Other days, we ask her is she wants to go potty and she says no and whines if we try to take her, so we've learned not to take her she doesn't want to go. We don't want her to see it as a punishment or be scared of it. We'll take it slow and see when she's ready to be fully potty trained.
I can't get over how fast Kimber is growing up. And she's becoming like all the big kids at daycare! When I first started taking Kimber to daycare, a little boy was about 18 months and wanted to shut the door after I left {apparently, shutting a door is a fun game for kids?!}. One day, I was leaving daycare after I dropped Kimber off and she said "I shut it". Plain as day. And now, she has to shut the door every day when I leave. And when I pick her up from daycare, she runs to her cubby to grab her coat. She sees all the big kids grab their coats when their parents leave, so now she does it. I love it and hate it at the same time!
Kimber is most definitely Nick & my child. She likes her things to be organized. She likes things to be in their place. And she will throw a fit if you move something of hers out of it's 'place'. She picks up her toys at night before bedtime and she knows where all her toys go. She will help us do laundry by handing clothes to us to fold from the basket. If we fold socks, we hand them to her and she lines them up. If you move them, she gets huffy and puts them back in line. She is going to be a Type A personality like her Mom and Dad.
20 months - 12 teeth.
Same story as last month - I didn't even know Kimber was teething. I just happened to feel inside her mouth to see if her tooth had come in {knowing she got her other one last month} and her bottom lateral incisor had already popped through.
