After work on Friday, I headed up to the farm so we could ride in the combine with Nick. Since harvest season has started, he's been getting home after I've put Kimber to bed so he hasn't been able to spend much time with her. I didn't tell Nick that we were coming up to ride with him. The look on his face was priceless when he saw us standing at the end of the row waiting to get in the combine with him!! Kimber loved the combine ride! There is so many moving pieces and so much to look at. And Daddy loved being able to spend time with her!
Saturday was a full day of wedding dress shopping for Aunt Paige!! We went to 3 different dress shops and she tried on ALOT of dresses. She loved almost every dress she tried on, but couldn't decide which one she liked the best. Until she tried on "the one" - the second she put it on she knew it was the one she'd be walking down the aisle in. And even though she looked amazing in all the dresses...she was glowing when she put that one on!
These pictures are not of the dress she picked, but she looked beautiful in them!!
Kimber & Chloe got to spend another day together! They are both going to be flowers girls in the wedding & will be adorable!!
Love the way Chloe is smiling at Kimber!!
Sunday morning started bright & early at 5:30. {as do most of our mornings these days} Kimber is used to getting up at this time during the week, so she doesn't sleep in on the weekends. She'll get up around 5:30-6:00am, eat, play and then take a morning nap. While she was playing, I got some laundry done & put together her new jumperoo. She played in the jumperoo for awhile, but her legs aren't quite long enough to reach the floor. I'm sure it'll be a while before she fully enjoys the "jumping" part of it!
While she took her morning nap, Nick & I got ready for church and then got her ready. I always love dressing her up in her Sunday best for church. When I grew up, we always dressed up for church. Jeans wasn't an option. And I still believe that today.
After church, we had Sunday dinner with Nick's family and then I headed to the park to meet my friend Rachel & Baby Easton. Easton is 2 months older than Kimber, so we set up a play date for them. It was a beautiful day to sit on a blanket at the park and enjoy the fall weather and a good conversation with a friend.
